On March 11th, 2016 agreement between the Foundation Silva Rerum Polonarum and the Foundation of the Memorial Museum of the 2nd Polish Corps was signed.

On March 11th, 2016 agreement on the financial support for the services of professional guides at the Memorial Museum between the Foundation Silva Rerum Polonarum represented by its President Mr. Krzysztof Czajkowski acting on behalf of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (MCNH) of Poland and Mr. Pietro Rogacien – President of the Foundation of the Memorial Museum of the 2nd Polish Corps was signed. Jacek Miler – Director of the Department of Cultural Heritage of the MCNH –was present at the ceremony. The agreement is valid for the year 2016.

The Museum is open for public all year round during regular opening hours of the cemetery. Guides are available every day during tourist season e.g. from April till the end of October. In winter time guides are available only at the weekends. Guides provide additional information on the history of the 2nd Polish Corps as well as assist visitors in finding through a special app tombs of their relatives on any of the Polish war cemetery in Italy or explain kids how to play games connected with the bear Wojtek history.

Please note: 1 euro per person is required for the assistance of a guide as a contribution to the running costs of the Museum
