President Andrzej Duda to Montecassino for the 72 th anniversary of the battle

On the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the victory of the battle of Monte Casino, a commemorative ceremony took place on the Polish war cemetery. Ever smaller group of the veterans and participants of the battle attended the ceremony. This year event was honored by the presence of the President of the Republic of Poland Mr. Andrzej Duda and spouse. During the visit to the cemetery the President with his delegation visited also Memorial Museum of the 2 Polish Corps. He showed a vivid interest in the exhibition and the  2 Polish Corps history presented in the broader context of the WW2.
