The participants of the IX Congress of the European Union of the Polish Communities visited Monte Cassino.

On October 26, 2015, a group of participants of the IX Congress of the European Union of the Polish Communities, which was held in Rome on 23-24.10.2015, visited cemetery and the Memorial Museum of the Polish 2nd Corps on Monte Cassino. Among the participants were representatives of many European and extraeuropean countries such as Canada, US and Australia. All delegates were not only pleased but also touched by the fact of being present at Monte Casino, expressing at the same time their appreciation for the involvement of the Foundation.  On behalf of our Foundation delegates were greeted by two members of the Board of the  Foundation – Joanna Hyman Salvade’, who prepared that trip perfectly well, as well as the President of the Foundation – Pietro Rogacien.  During the visit an agreement was conclude with Ms. Teresa Berezowska –  President of the Polish Congress in Canada on organization in Canada of the walking exhibit on 2nd Polish Corps consisting of panels from the Museum on Monte Cassino..
